SHAH ALAM: April 27th, 2010 will mark another benchmark for Shah Alam cityscape and her vision to be internationally recognized. With the grand opening of Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), the vision is close to becoming a reality. DYMM Sultan Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj will be gracing and officiating this historical event.
In conjunction of the grand opening, SACC will be showcasing two of Asia's renowned Divas: Dato' Siti Nurhaliza and Krisdayanti. The dinner show will be held at the Shah Alam Convention Centre on April 27th and April 28th.
Dato' Siti Nurhaliza is a multiple-award winning Malaysian pop singer-songwriter who has garnered more than 100 local awards.
Known as the Voice of Asia, Siti has recorded more than 30 albums including singles. She is also known to have the most number one singles than any other artist in Malaysia.
Krisdayanti, being the first Asia Bagus Grand Champion from Indonesia, has been dubbed as Asia's Nightingale. With more than eight albums to her credit including singles, she has reached superstardom where she is not only known in her country but around the Southeast Asian region as well.
For the first time, the two vocal prowess of Asia will be sharing a stage together at the Shah Alam Grand Ballroom at the convention centre and entertain more than 2500 guests from 8.00pm to 11.00am during the two-night concert. The biggest ballroom in Shah Alam Convention Centre, Grand Shah Alam Ballroom can accommodate up to 2000 people for an event.
"We organized this concert with the two most celebrated women in Asia, namely Siti and Kris to mark the grand opening of our building and we hope that this concert will alleviate our name to be visible in the local and international market." said Shue Ellis, the general manager of SACC.
Marketing Communications Manager, Tengku Anna Fira said with SACC Showcase, corporate companies could also take the opportunity to celebrate the secretaries for the Secretary's Week as well as entertain their corporate clientele.
During the event, lucky guests will have the chance to walk away with fantastic prizes such as a pearl set from Rafflesia the Pearl Centre or couture outfit from the fabulous Radzuan Radziwill. Goodie bags are sponsored by Lanvin Paris, Van Cleef and Arpels, The Body Shop, just to name a few.
Ticket price ranges from RM350++ (Silver Class), RM 500++ (Gold Class), RM 750++ (Diamond Class), RM 10,000++ for a table of 10pax (Platinum Class) and RM20, 000 ++ for a table of 10pax (Titanium Class).
